Terms of Service
Last updated: 27 October 2026
These terms explain how our website service works, in plain English. They apply when we confirm your order. If anything's unclear, email dylan.walsh@autoyours.co.uk and we'll explain.
1. Who we are
AUTOYOURS LTD, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17298403), with its registered office at Home Farm Barn, Bingley Road, Menston, Ilkley, LS29 6BB. "We" and "us" means AUTOYOURS LTD. "You" means the business ordering a website.
2. Who our service is for, and how you order
Our services are for businesses and organisations, not for personal use. By ordering, you confirm you're acting for a business.
Sending the form on our website is a request, not a binding order. We'll talk it through with you, and the agreement starts when we confirm the details by email. We keep a copy of that email, and these terms, and can send them to you at any time.
3. Your website (£149.99 one-off)
- Design, writing and build of a website with up to 5 pages.
- Works on phones, tablets and computers, with a contact form and tap-to-call buttons.
- Basic set-up so search engines can read your site.
- One round of changes before it goes live.
- Delivery within 7 days of receiving everything we need from you (often sooner).
Anything beyond this, such as extra pages, online payments or an online shop, is quoted separately and agreed before we start.
4. Monthly plan (£20 a month)
- Your domain (web address), registered and renewed by us.
- Hosting and the secure padlock (https).
- Small updates when you ask, such as changing text, prices, opening hours or photos.
Bigger changes, such as new pages or a redesign, are quoted first. Nothing extra is charged without your agreement.
5. Payment
We agree the details with you before any work starts. There's nothing to pay up front. The build fee is due when your website is finished and you've approved it, and we put it live once it's paid. Monthly payments start when your website goes live and are paid monthly in advance.
All prices include any VAT due. Nothing is added on top.
If a monthly payment is more than 14 days late, we'll remind you. If it's still unpaid after that, we may take your website offline until it's paid.
6. Your content
You own the text, logo, photos and other material you give us. You confirm you have the right to use it, and you let us use it to build and run your website. We can help you write content, and once you've paid, the words we write for you are yours to use.
7. The website design
We create and own the design and code of your website. While your monthly plan is active, you have the right to use it as your business website.
8. Cancelling
There's no minimum contract. You can cancel the monthly plan at any time by giving us 30 days' notice by email. At the end of the notice period your website goes offline.
Your domain is registered and paid for by us as part of the plan. If you'd like to keep it, you can buy it from us when you cancel and we'll transfer it to you. We'll confirm the price before you decide.
9. Personal data on your website
Your website may collect personal data from your customers, for example through its contact form. You're responsible for that data, and we handle it only on your instructions to run your website. We keep it secure, only use providers with suitable data protection safeguards (such as our hosting provider), help you respond to requests from your customers about their data, and tell you without delay if we become aware of a data breach affecting it. When our agreement ends, we delete it or give it to you.
You're responsible for your website's own privacy notice. We can add one for you.
10. Our responsibilities
We build and look after your website with reasonable care and skill. We use reliable hosting, but we can't promise the website will never be unavailable, for example during maintenance or a problem with a hosting provider.
Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before a claim. We aren't liable for loss of profits, business or data. Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited by law.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. If a change affects your plan, we'll tell you at least 30 days before it applies.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales deal with any disputes.
